About me

I have been practicing yoga since 2006, when I fell in love with the breath/movement connection. I am a RYT (Registered Yoga Teacher with the Yoga Alliance) and completed my 200-hour certification in 2020 through Empower Yoga Milwaukee.

I was certified primarily under the Baptiste Power Yoga method, however I have studied and been influenced by many other lineages including, but not limited to: Ashtanga and Vinyasa.

I live in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. When I'm not practicing or teaching yoga, and it's still nice out in the Midwest, I'm exploring the outdoors by canoe, road bike or car camping trips. I also love to explore different cultures through: trying new cuisines and most-importantly through international travel with my boyfriend, especially Asia! In the colder months, you can find me snuggled up inside with a good book and a glass of red wine.

About my class and techniques:

I primarily teach using the Power Yoga method, which is an all-levels style power flow, however I have taught many other styles of classes such as: sculpt, restorative yoga, beginner yoga basics, and kids yoga. 

Thoughtful and mindful movement, breath, and creative sequencing is my favorite part about teaching yoga. My classes integrate unique playlists that make the classes a more engaging and powerful experience.

I love making my classes challenging, but I always provide modifications for all levels. I want everyone to feel welcome in my classes, because I truly do believe that yoga is for everybody and every body.
