Students

First, you will need to create a free account to book any class on YogaTribes. Don't forget to activate your account using the link sent to you by email. Once that's done, you can book any class, anywhere! Try our wide variety of online classes and discover new teachers worldwide.
You can join an online course in three easy steps. First, select the Join Class button on the online class card on the web page for the selected class. If you're having trouble, just refresh the page and you'll be good to go! Then select Join Class from My Classes in your Dashboard. Finally, click on the link from the confirmation email you received in your mailbox.
Subscribe to your favorite teacher's tribe or add your preferred studio to your favorites. YogaTribes will keep you informed by email about new classes and publications.
Yes, you can find many different sessions and styles of group classes such as pilates, essentrics, interval training, and more!
Go on the YogaTribes home page, search for the city where you would like to book your class. Our site will display all the classes offered in the city you selected. Please note that online classes are available from anywhere in the world.
You will find the contact information of the teacher or studio on their respective profiles. If you know the studio or teacher’s name, use the search bar to find them or go to My Classes in your Dashboard to find your upcoming classes then select the class’ title or click on Join Class to find the teacher and studio’s info on the class’ page. You can also click on View Profile to visit a studio or teacher’s profile.
First, click on your profile picture in the upper right corner and select Dashboard. Look for and select the Discover My Favourite Styles test to start the short quiz to identify your favourite yoga style and help us recommend classes you may like.
Absolutely! It is possible to cancel your reservation up to three hours before the class starts. To cancel a class, click on your profile picture in the upper right corner, then select Dashboard and My Classes
To reset your password, click on your profile picture in the upper right corner, then select Settings followed by “Click here to change your password”.

Teachers

Yes, you can pre-recorded videos as long as you have the link to add to your Online Class on YogaTribes. It can be a link from another broadcasting platform like Zoom, YouTube, Vimeo video...etc. It can even be a link from your own Google or Apple media library. Choose a date and time for your class and you will be good to go!
YogaTribes is primarily a booking and payment website. You cannot upload yoga videos to YogaTribes. However, you can share the link of a yoga video when adding a class.
Yes, it is possible to offer free classes on YogaTribes. However, we recommend offering free classes in moderation and we encourage you to add paid classes and/or events to generate additional revenue.
Choosing the right price is crucial. We recommend a price between 5 to 10$ for an online class and a price between 10 to 15$ for a class in-person.
Yes. Your students can access your live classes or pre-recorded videos after they have paid for them. Once the money has been successfully deposited in your YogaTribes account, they will receive the video link by email.
Not at the moment. YogaTribes offers walk-in yoga classes and we recommend that teachers set an appropriate price for their class. In order to attract potential clients, the price of an online class should be cheaper or equivalent to a regular class and studio membership.
Yes, you can! Try our new and fully integrated streaming solution, YogaTribes LIVE, at no extra cost. With up to 40 participants at once, this broadcasting platform is secured, doesn’t require a password, has no time limit and provides better visual quality than competitors such as Zoom.
Yes, you can use Zoom or any other link like Facebook, YouTube or Vimeo when adding an online class to YogaTribes. Select the option Zoom or other links and insert your link at the bottom. You can also create a password for added security.
Yes, you can. Go to your settings and select the following section in My Informations: Do you also manage a studio? Become a Studio Manager!
Yes, you should publish on your newsfeed and as much as possible! The more you post, the better your chances are of getting extra bookings. Think of YogaTribes as Facebook or Instagram, you have to be active and engage with your tribe. It takes time at first but it will get easier with time!
To share a class, go to your profile section on the My Classes tab. Pick the class you would like to share and click on View Class. In the reservation section, you will find a Share button you can use to copy and paste the link into a Facebook or Twitter post. This is a fast and easy way for you to promote your class and share your passion with others.
It is simple. Just post the information you would like to share with your tribe on your Newsfeed and they will automatically receive a copy by email.
To edit a class, click on the small pencil located above the price. This will automatically open the class menu and you will be able to modify it however you like. Please note that once participants register in your class, you will no longer be able to edit certain elements like the price.
To reschedule a class, click on the small pencil located above the price to modify your class. Update the date and/or time of your class and save changes. Your class will be rescheduled to the new date and/or time. Participants already registered in your class will receive an email notifying them of the changes. They will also have the option to cancel their booking.
To cancel a class, just post on your Newsfeed and your tribe will automatically receive a copy in their email. Participants already registered in that class class will be notified of the changes and they will be able to cancel their booking.
Payment options are built within YogaTribes. Participants reserve and pay for their spot directly on your page using their credit card. The credit card information will be saved to make future payments easier and faster. You will also have to accept the YogaTribes waiting list before payments can go through.
That's right. For all free services offered by YogaTribes, we take the lowest commission on the market: 20% of the total revenue deposited into your account. You will never have an advance of funds.
First, you must click on your profile picture in the upper right corner and select Revenue. Then create an account using the email address associated with your PayPal. Your account request will be reviewed and approved within 48 to 72 hours. You will receive a confirmation email when your account is complete.
Once your account is approved, a Request for Payment button will appear. Your request will be reviewed and approved within 48 to 72 hours and the funds will be deposited directly into your PayPal account. A confirmation email will be sent to you once the payment is complete.
You can request payment at any time. However, you will need a minimum balance of $10 in your account to submit a request.
No. You’ll need to enter a fixed price for each class since your students need to buy to book one of your classes.
No, one of the ways YogaTribes helps yoga teachers is by doing away with the complexities of managing memberships. With YogaTribes, your classes are available one at a time, for a single price. Your students pay that low price with no membership commitment. You get to touch base with them each time they pay, helping you increase their loyalty and build your Tribe.
It's free to create your profile and start using YogaTribes right away! When your students pay you, a service fee of 20% is charged and that includes credit card and streaming fees! The important thing is, we get paid only when you get paid!
It’s a link to your class that’s monetized so you automatically get paid. Simple. If that wasn’t magic enough, you can use it to link to Zoom, to YogaTribes LIVE or to wherever you want, while at the same time to promote your classes, manage bookings and build your loyal Tribe of students. One link does it all.

Studios

You can choose whether or not you want a moderator to help you manage your online classes. You can even assign another teacher to take over the class for you.
We understand that managing a business can be time consuming. This is why we recommend adding a co-owner to help you manage your page. This person must first create a free YogaTribes account. You must then send us an email with this person's name and email address and we will add them as a co-owner for you.
Absolutely, just like you would on Facebook and Instagram. Keep your tribe in the know by publishing regularly to your Newsfeed. It will pay off if you keep on doing it.
Yes, you can own more than one studio on YogaTribes. If you already own a studio and there is another existing studio on YogaTribes you want to manage, send us an email with the studio information and we will add you as the owner.
To create a studio, you must first click on your profile picture in the upper right corner. Then, go in Settings, click on My Studios and select Create a studio or Add a new studio.
All your teachers should have a profile on YogaTribes and you must add them to your studio. Therefore, when you publish a class, it will also appear on their profile and their tribe will be informed of this new class, students that already like you teachers and more likely to buy a class with them at your studio.
